Following on from the success of our curatorial incubation programme for emerging curators in 2024, we have expanded in vitro to include a wide range of upcoming artist development and education opportunities.  These will take place accross the in vitro space, Alt_R and Gossamer Fog Gallery.

Introducing Tarlan Lotfizadeh our first 𝘪𝘯 𝘷𝘪𝘵𝘳𝘰 Fellow, who is working with us over 6 months, contributing to the delivery of our gallery exhibition programme and live mixed-reality events at our virtual production facility, Alt_R, whilst developing and presenting her own curated group exhibition at Gossamer Fog opening in October 2026.

Tarlan Lotfizadeh is an Iranian interdisciplinary artist and Solid State Physics graduate based in London. Her practice began with optics and the darkroom and later expanded across film, installation, poetry, lecture-performances, developing physics formulas and instructional methodologies. She chooses the medium and discipline that best serve the concept she is exploring, unrestricted by any single form.

As an Arts Council England Global Talent awardee, she has shown her work internationally at prestigious venues including the Museum für Neue Kunst (Germany), the Centre International d’Art et du Paysage (France), Cité Internationale des Arts (France), Atelier Mondial (Switzerland), and Fotogalerie Wien (Austria), and the National Gallery (North Macedonia) for the Co-Existence Biennial.

in vitro: Curatorial Incubation Programme 2024
An incubation programme for emerging curators facilitated by Gossamer Fog & Enclave Projects with the support from Arts Council England. Three emerging curators were selected from our first open call in 2024 to develop and present their projects within our new dedicated in vitro space, located at Enclave Projects, Deptford, South East London.
